About Sankalp Product Nation Initiative
The Sankalp Product Nation Initiative (SPNI) is inspired by a proven 20-year collaboration between Sankalp Semiconductors and BVB College, now KLE Tech—focused on transforming core engineering education in India.
Recognized globally, BVB (KLE Tech) was featured in an MIT Boston report as one of the top five upcoming institutions to watch for innovation in engineering education, the only institute in India to feature in this list. In 2025, BVB students won 1st and 2nd place (3rd prize IIT Madras) in Samsung’s prestigious Chip Design Competition, outshining India’s top-tier institutes.
Today, BVB (KLE Tech) has enabled 10+ startups from campus, a testament to what’s possible when education meets innovation. SPNI is founded by the same team that worked together on this journey and our mission is to scale this transformation replicating and adapting this model across engineering colleges in Maharashtra and India.

Vidyaleap is the anchor program of the Sankalp Product Nation Initiative, built to identify, ignite, and elevate core engineering talent across India.
It instills a spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, and product thinking by delivering immersive, hands-on learning experiences through a 5-month guided internship and mentoring. Designed in close collaboration with startups and industry, Vidyaleap connects students, faculty, and institutions to real-world challenges bridging the gap between academia and product creation.
